I have B&W slider and have been using straps to remove the hitch. Lifting device was a god send for removal

This is a well built tool for the B&W companion hitch. I just attach the lifting device inside the jaws of my hitch. Then take the tractor front end loader, attach a come-a-long and attach the hook to the device. I get the cable almost snug. Then I get in the bed of the truck and slowly tightening the cable. This lifts the hitch out of the socket without any manual labor. Then, I lift and back up and carry the hitch to the shop and set the hitch on its pallet and unhook. Love it. Just reverse steps to get a easy install also.

Price was too high but is does what it’s supposed to.

This makes removing a fifth wheel hitch extremely easy by using a lifting device such as an engine hoist, or overhead block & tackle, etc. It fits into my Curt hitch just fine.

Works exactly as described. Combined with a chain hoist it makes pulling your 5th wheel hitch a easy one man job.

This lets us install and remove our companion hitch without taking it apart. A real back saving tool that should be included with every B-W compsnion hitch.

Does its job, well. Combined with a hoist, anyone can remove/install a fifth wheel hitch.
