Greater than one weekSo this backpack is quite slim. If youre going to be buying it your only going to really have notebooks or slim items fit in it properly without it bulking out. I was trying to use it for my art classes but my sketchbook is right at the main edge of the backpack and my pencil case makes it stick out. My laptop(13) and ipad(11) fit in it though so if youre purchasing it for those purposes it works just fine.
