I have tested this bag out for 3 months on trains, cars, planes and buses during a trip to Europe. It didn’t stand up to this type of travel. I hate this bag personally. Each time I use it I despise it more. Let me explain: Trip one/ Round 1: a train ride and packed inside were my husbands and I’s things: 2 ironed dress shirts, one blouse and skirt and both our dress shoes and ties. Then one packing cube with underclothes, etc. In order to get out our ironed items in the garment bag we had to unpack and open everything. This is annoying but to be expected, however when we took the iron items out of the garment compartment they were super wrinkled. I was so annoyed. Due to the weight of the shoes and other items your garments get wrinkled. Okay, let’s try round 2: a car trip with friends. Same issues as round 1. The garments were wrinkled and we could only fit one packing cube and 1 men’s shoes and 2 women’s shoes in the shoe compartment. Which is very little considering in person this bag is very large and cumbersome . It was very cumbersome to but in the trunk of the car and wasn’t a good use of space in small European cars trunk. Another strike. Now round 3: planes/buses/trains ...all on the same trip through Poland just last week. This was the final straw for me when I said to myself “I must review this bag to save others from what we went thru!” First planes. The strap of course must come off if checking in. No big deal. But the zippers and claps that turn the garment bag into the duffle began to weaken causing gaps in this area giving me anxiety they would rip with how rough they treat your bags at the Airports and all our items would just come tumbling out. This didn’t happen...not this time at least. Now we land and it’s time to use the sleeve which you slip on to your rolling luggage. Yea this sleeve began to tear the first time we did this at the airport. Which for the remainder of the trip caused the bag to tilt on the wheeled luggage we placed it on...so much that it would slip off to one side. My husband was so irritated. By the end of our 2 week trip. But it gets worse. The buses and trains experiences helped us see how inconvenient this shape and size is for this method of transport. The bag gets so heavy when you pack it that to carry it around and lug it is painful. Especially up and Down train steps and over the luggage racks. It’s rough. The bag is now unpacked from our return and just looking at it makes me angry all over again because of the headaches it put us through. Don’t buy it. Spare your emotions, wallet and shoulder and back muscles. I warned you....

Unfortunately the zippers on each end kept separating from the teeth, and due to this, I lost items in transit. I did not overpack bag - I had one suit jacket in the garment section, one pair of shoes in the shoe pocket, and two pairs of pants and three shorts in the duffel area. I had high hopes but it felt very cheaply made and did not travel well at all.

Pros: suit was unwrinkled! able to fit 2 suits fit in the carry on waterproofing works Cons: day #1, zipper on end of bag broke. was able to eventually get it fixed, but, cmon - day 1? would NOT survive being checked on a plane I have a 42R suit, and it barely fit - so if you are any bigger than that, might not be the right choice

velcro strap on side pocket fell off, anyone knows where to replace them ?

I only wish the top 2 zippers were metal as if you try to overstuff just a little these plastic zippers come aprt.

As soon as I checked into my hotel, the first thing I did was to check the state of my suit! I was SO relieved to see that it was wrinkle free and in pristine condition. This bag is GENIUS! I was also able to get my lap top and other items in it. I’d buy it all over again!!

This thing is crazy. I own ONE suit, I only have it because I needed it for my daughters wedding. After purchasing it I was like, crap how am I going to get it there... Hello Amazon. After reading through hundreds of reviews and being a tightwad I settled on this one and let me tell ya I really didnt think it was going to work. Especially after it made it to the house. BUT, not only did my 42 long suit fit, but as you can see, my size 13 boots fit in it as well. I could have easily carried it on but decided to check it and carry my laptop on instead. Once we made it to our destination my wife spent about 10 minutes with a steamer and it was as good as new. (and its a cheap Hagar, not an fancy expensive wrinkle free suit.) It has a few nice touches like the separate tie pouch and the clasps where the sides come together. As for durability, SouthWest did their best and couldnt destroy it so thats a definite bonus. Ive included a few pics so you can see the clasps that I mentioned, the before as well as after its been filled up and proving you can fit size 13 boots in the shoe compartment. I truly think you cant go wrong with this one.

Bag is fairly well constructed. Was able to fit 5 outfits and travel kit no problem. Issue was the clasp on the shoulder strap broke during the first use. Was walking in the airport and next thing I knew was the bag falling to the ground.

Packed light for a 2 day trip ! I could barely zip it up to work as a duffle bag. Trip home was worse could not zip up and eventually the zipper broke. Disaster for the price I paid!
