Cashel Crusader Fly Mask

I was worried that the mask would be too big for my new petite 14 hand POA pony as her head is small-like an Arabian head. So when I received it and tried it on her, I was relieved it was a perfect fit. Not too small and definitely not too big. I have used this brand of fly mask before and they do hold up really well and usually last the whole season and then some. I have actually used them into the second season. This is my go to brand for fly masks so I am so glad that the small horse/Arab size fit my POA perfectly.

With over 40 yrs of horse I dont know why I was never aware of this brand before. I have 2 Drum (ext lg draft size) horses that are particularly hard to fit and this fit even the largest of the 2. Material is soft and airy with plenty of breathability to keep good ventilation to the horses face. The other 2 sizes I purchased were also nice fits. Ill be buying this brand from now on.

I have a horse that takes pride in being able to get out of his fly mask, I have finally found one that I can keep on him! I love the separate ear holes, I think that is the trick for keeping it on so well. I also love the light grey color, I can only assume it will keep him cooler as compared to the black masks I have had in the past. Great construction and durable, highly recommend!

Historically, I have used this mask for a number of years for my horse. This time, the seam separated on the side. Theres not a tear, as if my horse got caught on something. Maybe he rubbed his head. I dont know exactly what happened, but on the second day of him wearing it, the seam separated on one side below the ear. This particular mask was not very durable
