> 24 hourIt’s a well constructed braided cable that won’t get snagged or damaged compared to other. This is great especially if you constantly need to move your Ethernet cable around or just want one with extra protection.

> 24 hourI tested this cable with an ethernet cable tester and all pins were correct. I then used it on a gigabit LAN connection and was able to sustain full throughput across the wire for large file transfers. Im able to test above gigabit with my current hardware, but assuming it tops out there, this is still a very nice gigabit ethernet cable. The RJ45 is nicely designed with a good clip and the flat woven cable has a premium feel.

> 24 hourThis is a rugged, well made, substantial cable. Ive connected it directly to my main tower computer at home. I wont be able to put this cable to a real speed test yet as I am connected to a residential router at 1 GBPS. However, I expect that this cable is going to last a long time and will likely outlive my router. The snagless end connectors are so much better than other cables I have that Im tempted to swap it out and use this one with my laptop on the road.

> 24 hourAlright, maybe you dont intend to staple this to a wall but it can take it. Its strong enough to handle staples and probably some light foot traffic, so if you need to run a network cable where its going to get rough this will handle it. And its cat 8, so you can get that 10 GbE across the small war zone for that LAN party youre setting up. Or maybe just get your smart TV hardwired to make room on your WiFi for that smart toaster, the possibilities are endless!

> 24 hourThis is a great ethernet cable that does its job well. The braiding on this cable is a nice addition. I think it adds to the cables stiffness and could provide some strain relief. It does feel quite plastic-y compared to the fabric braiding you find on USB cables. The ends are very easy to use. The clips are easy to press to disconnect the cable. The gold plating on the connector looks nice but I dont expect that it does anything. This cable easily handles the gigabit connection my test devices can provide. I will update this review in the future when I have a link that is less bottlenecked at the ends. At the time of writing this review the price for this cable was $10.00. I think thats a good price for what youre getting here, but unless youre connecting this to an SFP+-to-RJ45 transceiver you are going to be using a (small) fraction of what this cable can theoretically handle. CAT6 cables can handle 10Gbps and can be had here on Amazon for about $4.00 for 10ft. However, those cables may not be flat nor braided.

> 24 hourIt looks and feels nicely made. Its a flat cable versus being round which surprised me. It works, though, so maybe because its only 10 ft. Since its braided nylon, there are no markings on the cable itself. The plugs say CAT8 and I didnt find any other specs/markings. Im using it for a short uplink and it works. I cant test the actual performance but no problems so far. Lights indicate gigabit connections.

> 24 hourUse case: streaming 8k content in a residential environment. Pros: - High build quality - Consistent, stable data transfers - No interference issues - Flat design Cons: - The only negative identified was also a positive; the flat design. Great for long cable runs. Not so great for tight spaces where RJ45 connects with hardware. As long as you have a few inches available behind your chosen device, you’ll love this cable.
