It is absolutely insane how much my cats love this toy. We have 6 cats amongst my family and each one of them goes bonkers for this toy. It’s literally little cardboard cylinders attached to a length of stiff wire, but it’s the best cat toy ever. My cat has no teeth, so his last a long time, but the other cats that do have teeth can go through them in a couple weeks. It’s worth it for me though since the cost isn’t super high.

This simple, affordable, and very cool toy replicates the motion of a bug zipping through the air. It’s a toy that doesn’t seem to get old for my little guy. I just really appreciate the simple design and how realistically you can make this bug-like shape move through the air. I gave one to a friend and her cat loves it too.

This is by far our @qwurkle_cat s favorite toy. No matter what she is doing, if we get the kitty dancer out, she leaves her previous activity (playing with something else, sitting on her favorite human, sleeping, eating, etc.) to play with the dancer. She will play with us as we use the toy with her, or she will play with the toy by herself if we toss it on the floor for her. Sometimes she runs in circles, or carries it off as prey, or flips & flops around with it, or chases it all over. She has a blast and expends a lot of energy. I wish the wire was neon so it was easier to find as it easily blends into our floor.

My 14 year old cats favorite toy! Bought as gifts for kittens & cats all ages. Most cats love it. You can play with them or they can play with the cat dancer by themselves. Such an inexpensive toy too. They will destroy it after a while so buy extra.

I have 11 and they dont all use them, but the ones that do absolutely love them.

For decades now, this simple, inexpensive cat toy has been, paws down, THE most popular toy in the basket! Something about the way the wire bounces and the sight or feel of the little bits of cardboard at the ends are irresistible to cats and kittens. My cats flip with joy when with play with it. Provides a good distraction when you need to divert undesired mischievous activity, too. I keep one in every room of the house!

Ive been using this with cats for 20 years- hands down the best and most popular toy! The wire really lets the cardboard end bounce around and fly like a bug, completely captivating the cats Ive used it with. My childhood cat was a low energy, cranky lady, but she sprang into action whenever we used this to play with her. In going through my old cat supplies when I was bringing home the two cats Ive adopted as an adult, I found this old toy and the kittens LOVED it! I was happy to find they were still being made, so Ive continued to order new ones for my cats as theyve worn out past ones and grown older (they are 4 years old now). They continue to be OBSESSED with this toy. Over time, they end up gnawing on the cardboard enough that it falls off, so I tend to order the 3 pack (usually lasts me 8-10 months if Im using it to play with them daily or a few times weekly). Though sometimes I just tear up cardboard from a box and slip it onto the wire and they still love playing with it, though those homemade pieces fall off all the time. I recently used a wire that had lost its cardboard with a feather toy they like, bending the wire to secure it. This totally blew their minds!

Something about the movement of the Cat Dancer makes them irresistible to cats... old, young, cranky, playful, indignant... I wont say ALL cats (impossible), but I will say most cats will like these. The price is pretty great. You can even get a wall mount.

I took videos and sent them to all my family members and they each got one for their cats! Long lasting, great value for the price, and made in my home state of Wisconsin. USA made! You do have to be careful not to whip it too hard, you can bop the cat on the head or poke yourself in the eye. I highly recommend this toy! I would supervise with young children.

Its quite evident by all other positive reviews that this toy is a classic hit with cats, including my own cats. I am docking one star for durability as once the cardboard rolls are decimated thats the end of the story until buying a new one. Just wish they lasted longer.
