Lost of family fun!

The game is best played with someone who knows the game and can lead. Its full of strategy and luck.

I am an 11-year old boy who loved playing his sisters game so much, that I bought my own. Shes going to take hers to college with her. With Catan, you get to build and trade to try to take over this island. Its a fun strategy game thats easy to learn and play. A typical game only takes 30-45 minutes so it doesnt have to take all day. A very fun game for young and old alike.

I purchased this game for my son, ages 9. My son is really in to games and I wanted to get them off their iPad this summer. A friend suggested this game and I am so happy to listened. We received the game today and we immediately busted out the packaging and set up the game at the table.

Fun game for friend or family game night.

We love board games as a family and this one isnt too difficult to learn and enjoyable to play often. The expansion (not included) allows more players, which make it more challenging and enjoyable.

Christmas gift. Played with kids 7 and 10, they understood the game right away and enjoyed. We only played the basic rules version far and its been good. Will review the advanced level details now because its easier now. My kids love it bit each child is diff. We play LOT of strategy board games, this came naturally. Pros: easy to learn and setup, game ends fairly quickly compared to a game like monopoly, more strategy involved.

If anyone says this is easy to learn that person is lying through her/his teeth. I’ve never seen so many rules. Also, extremely hard to play with cats. They just didn’t get it.

I was afraid this game would require a Doctorate to understand as many of these box games do, but this one is simple, quick and very enjoyable. Wish we had bought it a long time ago. Cant wait to get an expansion; thinking Pirates!

This edition has smaller cards, but the game is as fun as ever!
