The 95% cotton-5% spandex makes for a soft, slightly stretchable material that holds to the mattress snugly. The elastic band will allow the sheet to fit various sizes and shapes of mattresses. Our newest grandbaby sleeps very comfortably on them. At first, they had an unpleasant odor, but the smell was gone after washing them. Please pay attention to the washing instruction on the tag. In conclusion, If I had seen these in the store, where I could check them out before purchasing, I would have bought them. I dont hesitate to rate them at 5/5
