I’ve bought charcoal bags before and they’ve always been fine. I wish I would have opened these within the return window because they stink so bad like campfire. Bamboo charcoal is supposed to be odorless, so I have strong doubts that this is what it claims to be. From a source (Aside from their odor-free nature, bamboo charcoal bags are also an excellent choice for homes with pets and children because they are all-natural and fragrance-free. ) These ARE NOT fragrance free- everyone in my family immediately asked what the smell was when they walked into the room where I put one. It smells like the charcoal was actually dug out of a used campfire. I hung 2 on my open air porch to see if they would air out, and you can still smell them on the porch even though it’s a large fully open porch. The odor cannot be good for us. I’m probably going to have to toss them in the trash (outside trash bc they stink too much to put them in the kitchen trash). The reviews claiming there is no scent must be fake. Believe the rest of us. Do not buy. Update: these have been outside and sunned for 2 days and I can still smell them from several feet away. I’m starting to wonder if they’ve already been used to absorb smoke smell from a fire and repackaged/resold.

I bought it to try and help the indoor air however I have seen no difference or smelled. The company quickly contacted me to make me happy. I found that very responsible and have no problem buying from them again

I used this in a cedar chest that had mothballs in it. this product is slowly (fortunately) getting rid of that mothball smell. I never thought to use this in the refrigerator, but it works well! Better than baking soda!

I needed something to help quell the odor in my teenage sons room. Threw a couple of these packets into his room and no more smell. Yippee!!

Love these and they work so much better then some of the others i’ve bought!!! Did have one bag that appears to be turning black already though besides that, great product!!!

These will help with some issues, but we had something die inside a wall, and these just didn’t do the job for that I hate to say. I did get them quickly, as we were desperate for something that would help. They may help with other odors, but don’t count on these alone to get rid of a dead animal smell.

I have an enclosed area where 2 dogs are daily and I hung 3 of 4 bags and it’s not taking the odor away. Thought it was supposed to purify the air somehow.

so far it feel like it working ,only had it for a week

I do have a small bathroom with very little ventilation so it is helping with the humidity we didn’t like the charcoal smell as the beginning but then few hours later it started fading and after was just gone Thanks

I purchased based upon positive reviews. I used 3 inside a car that had cigarette smoke smell and 1 in a walk in closet with armpit smell. It took a while for them to remove the smell, but they did so very well, At first there is a strange smell that overpowers the existing odor, but after awhile there is no odor or smell. I would purchase again.
