Greater than one weekAs I always do before purchasing an item on here, I read the 1 star reviews. All I hear is that this book is boring. I remember growing up listening to my librarian read this to our class. Yes, it would be a boring book, however, it is to be read with enthusiasm!!! Make it fun and silly, not just reading the words. It is an interactive story where the listeners can engage in the rhymes themselves. Since its repetitive, they know and grow excited when they can sing the next words in the book! This book is not for you if you just read words, show the pictures and turn the page.

> 3 dayCan’t go wrong with this classic children’s book! My daughter absolutely loves chicka chicka boom boom. It has a rhyming flow and is also a song. A fun way to learn the alphabet. The book is a good size, a little bigger than my hand not too heavy. The illustrations are vibrant, eye catching yet simple. I recommend this classic book.

Greater than one weekMy son adores this book. All he has to do is see the cover and he starts grinning and squealing, Boom Boom! The rhythm and meter are such that even young children can remember and follow the progress of the book. And there are parts where you can invent motions and actions to go with the book that really make it a TON of fun for a small child. My son loves it. I do wish it came in a board book because my son hasnt learned to be careful with pages yet.

> 3 dayThe book was very cheap... so cheap in fact that it was missing 2 whole pages. Letters i-p are missing completely in the first half of the book. I cant believe these would even be considered sellable.

Greater than one weekI have used this book in my classroom very often! My firstgrade limited English speaking students were able to learn thealphabet quickly through the rhythmic and joyful telling of this story! It is a fun, fast, jumproping kind of sing-song story! Great for alphabet letter recognition and auditory memory.
