Why Garmin doesn’t provide something to protect the Golf GPS watch is surprising, given the cost of the watch. I have the Garmin Approach s62 watch and absolutely love it. That said, the charging port on the backside of the watch is not covered/protected, leaving it open to sweat and suntan lotion. This silly little item - why didn’t I think of it! - covers the port and does wonders in keeping it relatively clean. They are easy to insert and remove and, given the cost, easily replaced.

These little plugs do a great job at keeping your yuck out of that little indentation on the back of your watch where the plug goes in. I have a Garmin Sq and it fits perfectly. If only I can get a homing device on these little guys because I think they have feet and disappear at times while charging. Hence, that is why you should have at least 3 of these plugs.

I purchased this to cover the charging port on my Garmin watch hoping that was the source of irritation; it wasnt - I guess I officially have a nickel allergy. This product was fine though: for the two days before my skin broke out again, the charging port was safely covered by these and they didnt fall out or catch on anything. Just wish I didnt have to buy 20 of them to test out a basic theory.

Las tapas protectoras hacen su función: Proteger de entrada de polvo, arena y restos del agua salada. Sobretodo si se utiliza en la playa es bueno proteger el conector. Otra opción es limpiarlo muy bien tras el uso.
