Clank! Legacy: Acquisitions Incorporated

We played this game all the way to the end. We had a great time. There were a few times where we misunderstood the directions, but sometimes that allowed us to win, so all is well. Once we understood the directions, the next game we would play the right way the next time through.

We were gifted the first Clank game and we were hooked. Weve bought every expansion, every new game, every thing we could get our hands on. But Acquisitions Incorporated has brought us the most joy! The first time we played it, we had to put it away between every game in the campaign. But the second (and third!) time we bought it, we were able to leave it out and play campaign after campaign without ever needing to put it away to feed our kids. Sheesh. Their needing food while I need to get out of the Depths is pretty annoying.

Clank! is a solid game, and this legacy version made it so much better. I had very little knowledge of Acquisition Inc going into the campaign, but that did not hamper my experience at all. The story is fun and funny and the legacy elements blend with the Clank format seamlessly. I highly recommend this if you are a fan of Clank! or legacy games in general. It is probably my second favorite legacy game after Gloomhaven and more rewarding than Pandemic Legacy.

I bought this for my sister and my family played this during our Christmas together and we had a blast. I think it might be a little daunting if youre not already familiar with Clank! but it does start you off slowly before introducing some of the more complex rules.

My group and I are wrapping up the campaign now, but honestly one of the best gaming experiences I have had in my 15 years of table top gaming. You will need to like deck building games, have a group of four, and the time to play. Standard play is 2-3 hours a session. I would highly suggest the regular Clank! first to see if this game is for you.

This is a great game! I played Clank! before and its one of my favorite games. This takes it to a new level! Lots of fun stories to interact with and things to do on the board. The game changes every time session. I havent made it all the way through yet, but Im loving it! I does take a good chunk of time to play through on session, because there are something things that can happen because its a legacy game. So plan to play longer than a normal Clank! game.

Excellent fun game. Good production and excellent value for the price. Played all the game with four players about 2 hours a game. My 11 and 6 year old were able to follow along quite well after the first two games. Some sessions did run a little long for their attention spans and we read the cards as we played them out for the 6 year old but she was able to still make all the choices. Highly recommended. This was our first Clank! Purchase and I could see us buying more.

Clank! Legacy is a 10 session campaign that has been the most fun gaming experience Ive ever had, and Im only two games in! Ripping up cards hurts my soul every time we do it, but its necessary to get the full experience. It feels like a role playing game like DnD without the huge amount of setup the dm has to do.
