Clip Studio Paint Pro - Version 1 - for Microsoft Windows and MacOS

I was very disappointed with this. It is definitely not better than adobe illustrator and just as expensive. Nothing like I had used on a mobile app.

Have to download the brushes after installing the application. It is better than Photoshop.

Not for beginners

She is very much into graphic arts and is very good at it. Do I purchased this to help expand her drawing. She loves it.

Purchased for my husband who has gone to creating digital drawing as his hands arent what they once were. The issue we ran into was the lack of English instructions/tutorials. Its also advertised as an excellent program to use for those without a digital drawing pad, however thats exactly what it recommends for proper and accurate use. So its not a bad product, its just not what we needed and the description could use a once or twice over for accuracy etc.

If you are familiar with manga studio or photoshop it is a pretty seemless transition. The features are well laid out and intuitive.

Wish we could buy software & download offline without having to go the extra step & activate online using an email address. What is the point of selling a cd if we still have to go online to activate? You cant save anything until it is activated. This paint program is more than great, but I dont want to be spammed every month with discounts & promotions of their upgrades & other software they sell. I could use a throwaway email, but it doesnt matter, because you get spammed in the program on the front page with news. When I buy software I only want the program, dont want all the other bs marketing.
