I love this seam ripper! As a ballet costumer, I have a lot of alterations from season to season, so a good seam ripper is quite important. After using it many times over the past few months, it has stayed sharp. It fits well into a seam and is just sharp enough. Ive tried many other brands of seam rippers and this is by far my favorite. The only thing I would change is making the handle a brighter color, as it blends with the wood on my furniture.

Favorite tool in the sewing room! Use it for so many things and the handle is long enough to use without hand cramps and feels sturdy. Not a cheap feeling tool. Cant believe how long it took me to upgrade from the crappy mini plastic seam ripper that used the cap to extend the handle!

Bought two of these as I was tired of all the seam rippers I bought at JoAnn Fabrics breaking within a month of buying them. They need to stop using cheap steel. I have two from the 80s that are made of much better stuff but they arent as sharp as they used to be after 30 years of use. These are sharp and appear to be holding up to my Hulk-like seam ripping. Update: Been using this for a while. Its held up great and I still havent broke it. Bought two more I love it so much.

A cap that wont break! Every other seam ripper cap gets shoved onto the bottom of the ripper, eventually the plastic breaks and you have to buy yet another seam ripper. That wont be the problem with this one (but there is the potential to lose the cap entirely). I like the length, and chose to make one improvement of my own: I found a pen grip that I slid over the top part of the handle. Now I have a non-slip grip thats terrific!

Clover makes some great products. I really like this seam ripper because I have big hands and the handle makes it easy to hold onto. I have a Clover razor wheel I guess you call it for cutting leather that Id recommend as well. Cant beat Clover though, specially for the price.

Perfect! Takes small tight stitches out flawlessly! Just what I needed to fix a sewing mistake.

I bought this to cut the hair out of my vacuums carpet brush. This is a nifty little seam ripper. Its very sharp and light weight. Its slim construction allows me to get in between all the bristles and cut out the hairs with ease. I have not needed to cut actual seams with it, but it feels pretty delicate and would not try it on thick fabrics like denim. It comes with a cover, but it is not super secure. It is very easy to remove, but will not fall off on its own. Please keep out of reach of children. I highly recommend this product to everybody who owns a vacuum or the beginning sewer who needs to trim a few threads here and there.

This is the best little seam ripper. Give it a try. It has a very fine tip to get beneath tight stitches, and the edge is extremely sharp. A well designed tool that is comfortable in the hand. I might get a couple for gifts!

# 463 Seam ripper is perfect for ripping out seams, cutting threads and buttonholes.
