Greater than one weekWhat a outstanding tool.

> 3 dayThe bit made nice clean cuts. One thing I didn’t consider is that I thought the extra length compared to other bits was a plus, but the bit is so long that it can’t be lowered enough for the top bearing to ride on the template when cutting 3/4” stock using my Bosch router and Bosch router table.

> 3 dayIt caused what I felt was excessive teat out on the first pass.

> 3 dayI have only used this bit a few times to flush trim some trim around a odd shaped doorway and one of the bearings doesnt spin anymore.

> 3 dayBought this bit to pattern route 1-1/2 thick cedar. Bit runs true and shear cut blade cuts very cleanly. Stayed sharp through 30 linear feet of cutting. Great quality as expected from CMT.

Greater than one weekBought to replace a Yonico 14134 Flush Trim Router Bit which was junk. Obtained to flush trim 1.5 deep large mortises in a 2x12 with Bosch 1617. I have used routers for years, and know not to bottom out the bit when installing and to properly clamp it in. Yoniko bit vibrated violently the minute I turned router on. Tried to trim anyway - bit started working its way up and out of the router. Collet ruined, burnished beyond use. Measured shaft. Yoniko is both eccentric, tapered, and undersized. .490 to .455. Bought new collect and this CMT bit replacements. Worked perfectly. Also, CMT has a shear cut, while Yonico is straight. Stripped off the Yoniko bearings - bit is now in the trash... You always pay for what you get, and not always get what you pay for. CMT shaft is consistently .502. Tightened and stayed tight. Cut perfectly. Live and learn. Buy cheap, get cheap.

Greater than one weekThis is a great tool. I cut several curved pieces for a cradle with this and a template. Some 1.5 inch thick birch.

Greater than one weekUse this bit daily for work and it is still the best bit Ive ever had regardless of price. This is how router bits should be.
