Greater than one weekI received the radio promptly. Well packaged and complete. I installed a cigar lighter plug to the power cord as I hoped to be able to move the unit between vehicles as needed. I connected the antenna, tested the radio out it seemed perfect. Good reception, squelch control and transmitting range. Took the truck on a long trip the next day and the radio would nether transmit or receive. While trouble shooting I removed the antenna connection and the connector on the chassis came right out. Don’t think it was secured to the radio properly. Needed to use tools to remove the radio side of the antenna connector from my antenna. Not a good start. Maybe should have spent more on a well built unit.

15-06-2025For the size and price this worked well for my application. I talk to my buddy in his expensive cb and he said I sound pretty good compared to most he has heard. This unit is worth the money.

> 3 dayThis Cobra 19 MINI Recreational CB Radio is a nice option for a small, compact CB radio - good for off-roading or small spots. The CB Radio has a handheld mic but can also be used hands-free. The kit includes detailed instructions on using the CB radio. However it is set up to be hard-wired. Otherwise, you can buy an after-market adapter to use with a 12V cigarette lighter. You also need to add a CB antennae too. It was easy to get setup and works well. Good option for those looking for a small footprint CB. 3.5 stars.

> 3 dayThis is a great little CB radio. Installation is relatively easy, it is very simple to operate, and it works great. Makes for a little extra fun on the road.

> 3 dayt’s small, but powerful enough to not notice! Setup and installation were a breeze. The function to change the channel or adjust the volume is smooth. I personally move it around from vehicle to vehicle, is it’s very easy to deploy and takedown. Overall, I do recommend it!

> 3 dayThis little CB is very impressive. A tiny footprint makes it easy to install anywhere. Very simple to connect, 12b and ground as well as the anmtenna connect to the back. The handset plugis into the front. And then you are good to go. Great audio quality, easy to use, very easy to set up and install

> 3 dayThis CB is great for a jeep extremely compact. I’d doesnt come with a Cigarette lighter adapter but you shouldn’t plug a CB into that in the first place.

> 3 dayI received this radio yesterday. I know what is supposed to be with it as I read it thoroughly. It came in a plastic bag wrapped up. There was a cigarette lighter adapter still attached to the power cable duct taped together. Looks like it was either used or a prior return. I ordered new so i expected that. Submitted for replacement this morning, will update should this go smooth

> 3 dayTo be fair and honest, Im a ham radio operator. I really prefer having 20 watts or 50 watts in the car to get out past the trees. However, I also want to have the backup of a CB. This one is it. Its a nice little unit that works really well. It receives nicely. Speaker is good and loud. Transmission seems to be good and I got good signal reports out on the highway. I couldnt reach the highway from the house (its about 2 miles), but maybe with a better antenna than the one on the car, it could. Setup is easy. Operation is easy & clear. Controls made sense. Everything went together easily. Great little radio.

> 3 dayIts in theory a nice radio with a mic or the option to use hands-free which is not bad when driving. Youll need to buy a fair amount of equipment in order to get this to work correctly, so be sure to look at whats included, what you already have, what you want to do with it/where you want to mount it, and be sure that itll meet your needs before spending the money. I think there are better solutions out there for the price, but if youre integrating this into an existing set-up or replacing a radio, it could be a viable option.
