My son has been doing Scratch and other computer programing courses online. However, this has been a step up since he has actually learned to grab and open files to implement the Pong game. He felt so accomplished when the Pong ball moved and he was able to say that I did that! And that was just lesson 1, he has lot more to go through but he is enjoying it.

This Coding for Kids Game Design Software will be an amazing gift for my 10 year old nephew. He is homeschooled and loves mine craft. This system will teach my nephew how to create his own games and help promote his thinking skills and help his imagination run wild.

Yet another excellent product by Simply Coding. In less than 4 hours my son coded a pong game, renamed it and changed some of it to make it his game. I even received an email from Simply Coding informing me of my sons success. He is having so much fun with this program, I cant wait to see whats next! There are 2 more games he will learn to code with the help of this program and we are so excited to see them. Thank you for a wonderful way for my son to expand his learning.

I work with code everyday with my business and also homeschool my kids. Ive been looking for a good online program for my oldest to start to help get him on the right path and learning some code. My 8 year old son said MOM GIVE THIS 5 STARS for sure. I was a bit worried to try this for him as it is for 11+, but I was super happy to find that he does just fine with it. My husband helped him with setting up a folder on the desktop to and the initial sign in, but other than that we just let him go through it by himself. He says it is easy to understand instructions and a lot of fun. This generation is total tech savvy and I am thankful there are things out their to teach the kids while they are young and so able to soak it all in.

I got this for my 10 year old that wants to be a gaming coder when he grows up. He has completed the first lesson and say it was easy to follow and is learning a lot (he is still interested in being a coder, so it cant be that bad). The kids growing up in todays world will need to know all the tecky stuff when it comes to electronics, so getting them more advance isnt a bad idea, especially if its what the want to go to college for. Very happy to be educating his brain while having fun. Very happy with this coding program.

The course is easy to follow, explicit instructions broken down into step by step. I am taking the course with my 13 year old son and I am just us excited. After you finish a lesson you cant wait to start the next. This is a great course for children or first time users of Java. It also come with comes with a free 8 gig usb flash drive. Totally recommended.

I know what Java does from a user standpoint but Ive never coded or written my own program. But with this Game Design Software package, I had written my very own Pong game on the first night!

Got this for my 10 year old son to use who has also has tried other coding products in the past. He has gone through lesson one of this so far and says he really likes coding for kids better than the other coding products he has used in the past.
