Coffee Tamper 58mm Barista Espresso Base Coffee Bean Press

Ok, so Im not the most experienced home barista, lol, but based on all the YouTube videos Ive seen, I definitely needed something better than the ill-fitting plastic tamper that came with my Gaggia Classic Pro espresso machine. So I took a chance on this tamper and Im happy I did. I thought an expensive tamper was really overkill and kind of ridiculous (at least for me), but I found this reasonably priced one, and my espresso shots are awesome! My only beef with this tamper is that sometimes when Im tamping, the tamper unscrews itself from the handle, which is annoying. Im not sure why its not more securely fastened -- but its really not a huge issue and overall I feel this one has tremendous value for its price. Other hardcore espresso affeccionados may disagree but, hey Im not planning to open a cafe anytime soon :)

Great product.. I bought it for my La Pavoni.

I needed a second tamper for my espresso machine at work. I didnt want to spend as much as I did on my home one and this looked nice. It totally exceeded my expectations. This is really nice and heavy. It feels every be as nice of quality as my fancy one costing 3 times as much. The shape of the top could be a little flatter to make it more comfortable for your palm, but if you press more with your fingers on the top of the flat part, then its perfect. I highly recommend this.

Right size and weight. Perfect fit for a 58mm porta filter.

What can you say? It tamps espresso grounds, fits the standard 58mm portafilter well. No complaints

I love it! I am coffee lover and like to make it by myself. This tamper is heavy enough and very convenient for my hands. I highly recommend it!
