Actually, my husband does. I ordered this for his recent birthday, after his previous umbrella broke, and we wont know for a while whether this lasts any longer, but so far he loves the size, the workmanship, the apparent quality, the looks, and the special features. We have high hopes of having found a real winner; well keep in touch if there are any unexpected developments, but it appears to be very well made, sturdy, and sensibly designed. (We wanted an umbrella that actually works, not just stands in the umbrella stand and looks useful. We dont get downpours here as we did in Florida, but the wind is a much bigger problem.) So far, were very happy with this umbrella.

This umbrella seems to be well engineered and is very sturdy. The wooden handle is solid and looks great. The ribs and internal components are made of a heavy-gauge metal and the automatic opening is quick and solid. The shaft is a solid, non-conducting, microfiber rod with a protective metal tip that prevents damage as one holds it point down or touches it to the walkway. The umbrella material seems sturdy, but not heavy, and the design is layered to minimize damage during updrafts. I have no complaints and would buy another as a gift for someone. It seems to be designed to last for many years.

I used to own one umbrella like this in Ireland, but then I moved and had to part ways with it. It made me incredibly sad because it was the best umbrella Ive ever had. Needless to say I am ecstatic at the opportunity to own the same model once again. This umbrella stands unrivaled in robustness. My friends are amazed at how well it handles strong winds - this umbrella does not bend. I am confident you could stop a rivers flow with this thing and it wouldnt bend an inch. It is also an incredibly stylish umbrella. I like to swing it around when carrying it when it isnt raining. This umbrella checks all the boxes.

Its worth the price. I got this as a gift for a guy very serious about his umbrella usage. its very strong, and is as described. it will last, its big, and it has a curved handle, as requested. I figured, where else would the best umbrella come from? why from London of coarse. shoot, My dear friend loves his new umbrella so much, he thanks me again and tells me about his rain adventures every time I see him. Hes very proud of his gift, and I feel great that I got him something he appreciates, yay me =)

After the recent California storms eviscerated two cheap umbrellas in a single day, I ordered this British looking umbrella as a replacement. As I enjoyed a plate of brisket and ribs from my favorite BBQ joint, I watched the rain return outside with a vengeance. Eager to ride into battle with my new rain weapon, I finished up dinner and prepared to venture out again into the torrent. Behold! The magic umbrella had again parted the clouds and stopped the rain. I took the opportunity to open. The umbrella and examine the fine craftsmanship. This is truly the last umbrella you will ever need.

I have wanted a British style umbrella for quite some time. This one doesn’t not disappoint. It arrived quickly. I was very impressed with the quality. The handle is sturdy, the frame is durable. It’s much more sturdy than the other umbrellas I’ve had before. I love the elegant, sophisticated look. Have used it several times and it’s perfect. Holds up well in the wind; no worries about it flipping or breaking. The only thing I would change is the ability to have the handle custom engraved. But I am VERY pleased with my purchase. Highly recommend.

Lighter than common smaller umbrellas. Great feel, feels solid, not delicate, light, love the wood handle and the 2 straps. Used it in a couple of Florida rain falls, so far a great product.

The umbrella is very sturdy and well made. It is nice and large when open and is big enough for 2 people.
