Great for knives!

Opening my package, I found 8 rods, made of a yellowish metal, most likely brass, however the metallurgy results arent back from the lab yet. They were 1/8 (+/- 1/100000000 or so)

Purchased the 1/8th, and 1/4 in rods and use them for the center pin/axil pin on the yo yos I make from left over cut offs/scrap wood. They work great and add that little bit of extra weight needed when light wood is used.

I do not recall the material specifics. They were not essential for my project. With that said, the Rods were perfectly straight and the correct diameter. I would buy again. I needed a specific size and material to make unique dowel pins. These worked perfectly and polished very well, adding simple yet elegant accents to my project.

These rods are a very consistent 1.984mm in diameter, in other words they are 5/64. That may not seem like a significant difference, but it is very noticeable. And when your pivot holes are designed for 2mm, there is unacceptable slop. I wish the sellers would specify which measurement is the more accurate. (e.g. 6/64, close to 2mm).
