> 24 hourI purchased this box to mount outside so we could plug our camper in when it’s in the driveway. This is an excellent box and it came with all internal componentS pre-wired. Once it was mounted, we ran power to it, then checked the connections using our surge protector. Once the lights on the protector confirmed all was correct, we plugged the camper in and successfully checked to make sure the A/C worked properly. It will be so nice during the summers to come to work comfortably in the camper. I highly recommend this product.

> 24 hourThis unit is greatly improved over the previous model purchased. This unit seems to be well built and even has a new lid that allows you to close the cover while power cables are connected which previous model did not provide. Downfall is the cheap aluminum hinges which will break off if you are not careful. All in all it is not bad for the price.

> 24 hourI purchased this unit for my RV parking area next to my home. Our Motor Home is a 40 foot bus, diesel pusher with twin A/C and requires 50 AMPS. I had a licensed electrical contractor install this Connecticut Electic 80 AMP box. When I plugged in my 50 AMP plug, the plug was proud to the point the door would not close. I had to use my grinder and cut a relief big enough for the plug in order for the door to close and latch. This is not a good design for 50 AMP users. If you have a 30 AMP service or just want to use the 110V plugs, it will probably suffice... But if you have 50 AMPS, BEWARE!!

> 24 hourThe box provided exactly what I needed for the project but overall quality of the product was poor. Paint was chipped in several places (already rusting) and both the 120v breaker and the GFCI were bad. Had to go to Home Depot and replace both. three of the conduit punch outs were not even close to being scored, so I had to drill them out.

> 24 hourThis is a very well made box. I would not consider any RV box that doesnt have the breakers. They should be shut off before unplugging.
