Contractor 333 Garbage Disposal 3/4 Hp (Contractor333) Black

I broke our disposal and was told by the company that only a plumber could replace it. I asked for the replacement disposal number, since ours was 20 years old. I found it on Amazon! It arrived 2 days early! My husband had it installed, including replacing some pipes that were disgusting (purchased separately) within an hour! He didnt even need to replace the top metal bracket. This item perfectly replaced Insinkarator Pro333.

I used this contractor333 to replace a Pro333 unit (@30 years old). It fit right in using the supplied parts and the instructions were well written. Id recommend this unit!

The old Pro 333 top ring rotates, while the new Contractor 333 has a notch prevents the top ring to rotate. Thus, you may have to revise existing p-trap. Other than that, all is well.

The product is a great replacement for my prior garbage disposal. It was an excellent fit. The instructions were clear and easy to follow.

If you want a good disposal that doesnt rust out this is a good one to get. I installed one for myself years ago and just bought two of these-one for my friend and one spare. Being 3/4 horse these are great and easy to install. A little more noise than the smaller horse models but not too bad.

If the discharge tube is broken, who is to say the rest of the unit will function? Returning. I did notice the discharge tube on the old unit was of substantial quality, this one seemed cheap plastic. Another company putting cheapness over quality.
