> 24 hourThis is a Montessori type toy so its great to stimulate reasoning, critical thinking and problem solving in young learners. I purchased this as a gift for my uncle in his 70s to stimulate his mind and to help re-build his motor skills after a stroke. He loves it.

> 24 hourI got this for my nephew’s 1st birthday. He’s a little young for it still but really enjoys playing with the pieces. They are high quality wood so I think they will last and he will grow into it more.

> 24 hourThis is a great toy! My toddler-baby is fascinated by this toy and gave it a solid 17min of attention on it’s first day. Unfortunately there’s one big BIG issue with this toy. There is barely any glue at all on the pegs and they all break off. My son was chewing on one during that first 17min, but he’s pretty strong, so I took it away glued it and returned it. Than another broke and another and another. Eventually I took it away and later at night wiggled each peg. Every single one broke off! Looking at the tiny droplet of adhesive underneath it’s understandable that they do. So- make sure to test each peg and secure it properly before giving it to a child. The pegs are small enough they can be swallowed on accident and do pose a danger. For that reason I would not send this as a gift, I would only give it if I’d had the opportunity to open it and fix it myself.
