As a newbie it takes some getting used to. Not sure if this is normal, but does have a metallic smell after using for some time. Overall pretty basic, which is what i was after. Looking forward to practicing with them.

Comes with a little pendulum (adorable, gave to my kid for divining on the go) and unexpected bonus-two tiny glass vials with cork stoppers that I have no idea why they were included but I love them and I stuffed night blooming jasmine flowers in them to preserve their heavenly scent so perfect for some very tiny things or perhaps a few drops of water you discover on your dowsing adventures. As for the rods themselves, wonderful quality. I had dowsing rods and lost track of them over the years. This was an impulse (read: inspired) buy and as such I have yet to use them but they feel resonant. Wonderful gift for someone.

Not many people understand Dowsing. I was lucky enough to have a college prof years ago who had been Dowsing his whole life, show us how it is done in Geology class. I never forgot a word. Then a friend had a set of these & I got to try it out & see if I could dowse & I could!! Pretty thrilling when they cross & open and move left & right with the electro magnetic fields given off by ground water, which is what I use them for. Cant speak with authority as to their other uses, but they do work for Water Dowsing. Now, some people cant dowse effectively. It has to do with the circuitry in your body flowing through you (water electromagnetic battery of humans being 90% water) & connecting with the water source, using the copper rods as the conduit. Maybe I should write a book? Practice on an above ground pool or on a well with a known depth, so you will understand how the rods respond through YOU around and near/far certain bodies of water. Also comes with 2 nice small bottles & a little booklet. Ive already told you enough to get started. Lots of YouTube videos on Dowsing. Get started!! I would absolutely repurchase these.

These are my first pair but I noticed right away one sticks and sometimes gets held up if I don’t have a strong energy answering me. Both rods must have had a sticker that got removed because there is a sticky residue on them.

They smell and feel like pure copper for sure! Work well too

I have now ordered 4 of these. They are awesome and they always ship very quickly. I am in the professional golf event management business. I am responsible for setting up some of the PGA TOUR Events you see on TV. I work closely with the courses irrigation staff and they would always have marking flags bent at a 90 degree angle to find water lines. I saw these and I gave them to a guy in southern California. It is funny they have maps that show the irrigation but most of them use this type of device. The first guy absolutely loved them so I am now at an upcoming event in Wisconsin and have bought them for this person. They are always amazed how much better they work than a marking flag. You can even detect phone lines and electrical but I still call to have those marked. Highly recommended for sure

Just recently Id heard of dowsing and I ordered these to see if they could help clear negative energy. Ive had a situation between two cats at home in which one is aggressive towards the other at times. Work done by a Shamanic practitioner resulted in her saying that follow-up energy clearing may help. Interesting outcomes with these rods - I sat near each of my cats with them, when near the cat who is the aggressor, the rods crossed over each other and formed an X. I prayed and cleared the energy and no more X. I walked through the house and found 4 or 5 areas where the rods crossed and again formed an X. Cleared that energy. Interesting to see that since doing that earlier today, the sometimes aggressive cat has gone over to greet and sniff noses with his sometimes victim. This is a big shift. I think these rods may be a nice supplement to other healing work. So, considering this experience, Id say these are good rods!

I bought it for the rods and ended up to work with pendulum. Both things are awesome. Instructions well written.
