How to keep mice out? Plug up every hole and access point to your living space. Buy this mesh, find the holes, fill the holes. We live in the country and there are mice. Ok I get it they were here first and then a house got built on their space and then the humans in that house had so many enticements for mouse life. But they bring filth so much filth and I don’t want them in my space. Steel wool is a wonderful thing but it rusts and then breaks down and then there is a gap and then mice in the house. I found one particular access point from the crawl space to the 1st floor mechanical room. The steel wool worked until it rusted away. This copper mesh—I didn’t know there was such a thing. I love it. It works and not one sign of rust after a few months. Also not one sign of mice. The mesh is not as cheap as steel wool. The quantity I bought was less than I thought it would be but it was enough for my purposes in filling one area around a four inch pipe. If you have many holes you’ll need a lot of mesh and it could get pricey. I wish it were cheaper. Oh the man who built this house and lived here before us had a record of mousetrapping 23 in one day. Yes there are mice. Keep them out then you don’t have to be bothered with them.

I purchased this for filling weep holes around the house, when cut the whole thing falls apart. Not what I expected

Bought a tiny-home. Why did they have to drill a 2 inch hole for a 1/2 inch pipe????? This was an open path for mice, might as well have sent out engraved invitations! Stuffed this in the holes, stapled some wire netting underneath, replaced the stupid plastic escutcheons with metal and no more mice. Dont use steel wool, it will rust - this doesnt.

Light and thin copper, rats chew and / or just push them out of the way. Not useful for that purpose.

Im using copper mesh to stuff in cracks to mice stay out.I havent had a rat invasion so far this winter, so its works fine.
