I built a pc for my cousin in this case thinking it would be like a lian li since it’s as expensive. Sadly disappointed since I am a cosair fan boy.

Fantastic case, used for a water cooled build. Taking one point because the front panel doesn’t support usb-c gen 2 and there’s not a replacement.

Ive always had Corsair cases because they always look nice and have had room for expanding my builds. THIS CASE is near perfection for not just my current build but my previous ones. So many ways to customize, and change the air flow! I currently have 10 fans in + 3 on the cpu radiator, and its keeping everything very cool (35-45C with peaks in the 60C so far while actually gaming.) With room to expand and change up still!!

This case is almost perfect with one cosmetic flaw. They SHOULD NOT HAVE TINTED THE GLASS WINDOW! It takes away from the aesthetic beauty of an RGB build because the vivid colors do not POP like they do with the cover off or a case without a black tinted display window. You can see the difference with the cover on and with the cover off in my pictures. This might not be a big deal to some and it definitely will not lower my five star rating. The entire MESH AIRFLOW design of this case is amazing! I have used the 4000D AIRFLOW and now this 5000D AIRFLOW in almost all of the builds for customers. I used to use the NZXT 510 case but I like this design better, especially for, well AIRFLOW.

Obviously if product weight isnt an issue, then go nuts!

Well my x99 computer was starting to hold me back at a architecture level so I new it was time for a completely new PC and I wanted a new case too since mine was 8 years old. Yep a Corsair Obsidian 450D. Man Corsair sure has learned a lot. Plenty of room for the EVGA FTW 3080, a 360mm AIO and a total of 10 fans not counting the vid card fans.

The 5000D is a great looking & well built case, but some of Corsairs design decisions could have been [sometimes much] better. The biggest issue [IMHO] is that the interior height loses 1.5 inches to the recessed top panel, & the case is roughly 1/8 too short to fit a radiator thicker than about an inch up top, at least when you use an AMD motherboard with a top mounted heatsink. And there are a bunch of radiators thicker than 1, including the Corsair H105 I was going to use -- Corsairs specs falsely say it will fit. And while its not the fault of the case designers, there are a bunch of liquid coolers with hoses that are about 12 long [including my H105] -- those hoses are too short to work using the side or front radiator/fan mounts.

Easy to build in. Lots of room and great air movement. Looks good also.

The CORSAIR 5000D AIRFLOW is a mid-tower ATX case that shows off your PC, and not its cables. An airflow-optimized front panel delivers maximum ventilation to your system, while CORSAIR RapidRoute cable management makes it simple to keep cables hidden from sight. Two CORSAIR AirGuide fans offer directed airflow, and a motherboard tray with customizable fan mounts lets you install multiple 360mm radiators.
