Just received the RM850x and I was under the impression that I was getting the newer model , but no.. the 850 thats selling right now is the older but still amazing (2018) model with the rifle bearing and not the Mag-Lev. Minus two stars for the misleading information on the amazon page and for leaving my package in its original box on my porch exposed and tagging it as handed to customer.. It was most certainly not handed to me!

Great product good quality and great entry option for ppl who like custom cables.

This product does just what it says it will do. Even under heavy gaming, its still pretty much silent. Packaging was excellent and I will continue to buy Corsair products in the future.

Stronk power supply. Been running strong for 5 months now. Easy to install.

No missing pieces, more cables than I needed. Well labeled, easy to install, with one exception mounting holes did not quite line up with case, but after a little juggling, no problem.

I purchased this PSU as an upgrade from the factory unit in my Dell Optiplex 7010 MT. If you are looking to put one of these in this same type of PC, a word of warning: this PSU barely fits. I thought I would actually have to return it, but I was able to squeeze it in while sliding the side panel latch forward. Luckily, the latch still moves back enough to allow the side panel to stay closed, but the latch does rest against the PSU.
