Greater than one weekMy G6 laptop mentions that it only supported 8GB of ram. I did a bit of research and some people said it worked and 1 forum post said it worked for a different G6 laptop.

> 3 dayBeen watching the price of RAM for a while now. Got a new iMAC 27, 2017 and did not want to pay Apples ridiculous cost for RAM upgrade. I paid 269.99 for this and it was well worth it. Reasonable quality, good price and worked after install with no hassle. It took about 5 minutes to install. It passed all benchmarks I tried to confirm it was working as intended. If you are looking to add RAM to your iMac this is a good choice . Obviously, confirm specs before purchase as RAM might be different based on model and generation of iMAC.
