Coway Airmega AP-1512HH Air Purifier Replacement Filter Set, 1 Count (Pack of 1), White

This is my 5th time buying one of the official replacement filters. When I put the filter into my purifier it filled the room with an odd new filter smell (I wouldnt say it was chemical like or unpleasant but was definitely noticeable when you walked into the room the purifier was running in), I ended up ordering a replacement directly from the Coway website because I thought the one from Amazon may have been a defect but it also had the exact same issue. Weird because the first couple times I bought filters they were completely odorless. Luckily after like 1-2 days of running the filter the smell went away completely, you could probably do the same by just taking it out of the box and setting it outside or something for a day. Overall the filters do work really well and Im glad the new filter smell faded pretty fast.

I expected a perfect fit since this was the brand name filter. It did fit. It was easy to install and boy was the old filter dirty.

Fits in my Coway air purifier and works just fine. No odor that many others have mentioned. However the print on the HEPA filter does differ from the one that shipped with the air purifier. The air purifier pumps much more air with the new filter and the old one looks pretty gross after the suggested 1 year of use. Highly recommend changing these on schedule.

I was nervous to buy this replacement filter initially based on a review that mentioned something about a bad smell coming out the unit after filter was replaced. I didnt experience this. I have had this air purifier for about 2 years now, and I love it! I have had no issues so far, hope it stays that way! Very good investment, my allergies have reduced significantly in addition to using a humidifier with eucalyptus oil.

Bedroom comfort.

We purchased 2 of these back in February along with two other filter replacement packs. The latter were specifically for the Coway Air Mega 150W (of which we have 4 in our home). Due to limited availability of the correct 150 replacement packs we were told by Coway that these AP-1512HH filters could be used also in the 150. Well ... sadly, that is not the case. Perhaps this is our own fault for waiting until spring to actually swap out the filters ... and now we are beyond the return window. Either way, identifying the correct filter for a particular Coway model sold not be as difficult as it is. Now we have 2 of these things that are quite useless.

The filter works fine for the air purifier, easy to install, no smell as some have noticed, but I am dissatisfied with two things - the price is a bit high and I dont need two odor filters. Give me two air filters and one odor filter and the price works for me!

Fits and works well. Chemical odor was initially present and faded over time.
