> 24 hourThese doesn’t necessarily affect the quality of your prints but I think it’s an improvement that will improve your experience and when coupled with other upgrades contributes to getting consistent prints. Having all of these popular upgrades bundled together in one package is a great idea.

> 24 hourSo, this kit comes with some good upgrades for your 3d printer. I broke my cheap plastic extruder and replaced it with this metal one, which works great and I have had no issues with slippage since. However... the idler wheel that sits across from the extrusion gear came completely frozen (would not spin), and I had to use the stock idler wheel as a backup. Also, you will need to cut these springs if you are using on an Ender v2. I ended up going back to the original springs. All in all, the PTFE tubing and the extruder are really what you want out of this set. If you can find both cheaper, id go for that.

> 24 hourPurchased as a replacement for the stock plastic feeder assembly on the Ender 3 Pro. Definitely much more secure and easier to work with. I will say its a real shame the printer doesnt ship with a metal feeder (as opposed to the plastic one that gets worn easily and seems to prevent proper extrusion), but putting that aside this is a great part.

> 24 hourThere are other extruders on the market, maybe a few dollars cheaper, but this one works much better I can say this with experience. First, this comes with instructions and all the right parts to install it. Other extruders do not, off branded ones, and this will waste your time and leave you frustrated with a bunch of parts that are useless to you after you figure out that you dont have any of the right fitted parts. Second, it started extruding like a champ on the first print. If your looking for a replacment/metal extruders for ender 3 /voxelab aquila just get this one.

> 24 hourWasted too much time wondering why certain parts (e.g. the m3 rivet nut) werent fitting and why the instructions had different orientation than the stock one and this products own photos (e.g. the extrusion gear).

> 24 hourAfter my printer started to fail every single print, I decided to do a whole bunch of upgrades. Not sure what was wrong though. After I took off the original plastic feeder off. Found out that it is pretty broken(it is black, hard to notice the crack). And that makes the metal upgrade a must. I wish I did the upgrade earlier, it would save me a lot of trouble.

> 24 hourThis metal extruder made for a nice upgrade on my Ender 3 Pro. The plastic factory extruder cracked and this kit includes a much higher quality metal extruder. Instructions are included, but there may be a tiny bit of variation depending on your printer. My packaging was missing the screws that hold the filament tension spring in place. With the old plastic extruder in hand I was able to salvage some pieces to make everything fit. The Capricorn bowden tubing included in the packaging works great so far too. Im familiar with using Capricorn tubing and this seems legitimate and has held up throughout a week of constant printing. There should be enough Capricorn tubing for 2 uses, but it varies depending on your setup. The only thing included I did not use were the bed springs. I already have silicone bed mount spacers that work well and didnt want to mess with the great results they were providing. For the $15 price, there is a lot of value here! The metal extruder is quite the upgrade and is much easier to load filament.
