I dont know what it is about these wonderful little touch up tools, but they seem to grow legs and walk away! Im on my third one now in just the past year! Keep lacquer thinner in your vehicle to clean up (or the appropriate thinner for the touch-up paint you are using) so that you can keep that TINY little hole nice and clean. These things are a beauty to use and give you extremely precise control when touching up rock chips on a customers car.

I used the applicator pen to apply fine drops of auto paint into stone chips on my car hood. The pen did the job though it was tricky to get the auto paint into the reservoir on the applicator pen. I ended up spraying a small pool of matching paint from a rattle can into a plastic cup and then carefully pouring that paint to the applicator pen reservoir. An eyedropper or similar tool would have been helpful. I cleaned out the applicator pen with water as best I could after I was done so that I can re-use in the future.

I originally got this product so that I could see if I could use food coloring as ink and to be honest....... IT WORKS!!!! I am still playing around with the ratios and the type of paper that I need to use for the best results but so far I have had a lot of success. When I first opened the bag, it kinda smelled like an old persons home or perfume but that didnt bother me much as I am getting this for the product not the smell. I had purchased food coloring and added some dishwashing soap to help it flow just incase it doesnt flow well and I am pretty pleased with the results however I would be mindful of what type of paper you use because it can have some severe feathering, bleeding and I also noticed that it takes longer to dry. So I guess if you were to use thin inks similar to fountain pen ink then I would be careful on the paper and drying time. Water colors work amazingly since they a little more thicker and dont blog up as much as the food coloring does. I would warn that you shouldnt use inks/paints that are too thick other wise it wouldnt flow and also clean the pen after every use because you wouldnt want it to gunk up. Bought this to fix some paint chipping spots on my car and it worked like a dream. No issues with clogging or paint dripping. The pen tip is tiny enough to get the perfect amount of paint to fill the chips on my car without causing a mess. Clean up was quick and painless with the included tool. Just make sure you’re using acetone or paint thinner when cleaning the enamel paint out of it. A great tool to have for the inevitable rock hitting your car. I’ve also seen people use these types of pens with watercolors and lettering, I bet this one would be just as good for that, too!

This tool has saved me from having to re-paint entire body panels for a couple of rock chips. I’ve been able to save my customers money and myself time. Super easy to use, and it works with all colors. Solids, metallics, clear coat, the whole 9 yards. Definitely worth the price.

Awesome product to use of touch ups on anything that is painted. I am an automotive painter and use it to touch up rock chips and scratches. Works great

I picked this up to colorfill some meme lower receivers and it made it easier and better looking than the lowers I did without this.

This pen is great for touch up paint chips on your car. Stone chips and even scratches. You have to refill it but it lasts quite a while. I am glad i found this!
