I tell you what, Cricut’s mini version is where it’s at. That little thing gets the job done. I thought it was time to get a larger size for my bigger projects but the 9x9 doesn’t seem to heat the vinyl into the surface as well as my mini. I find after using the 9x9, I have to go over the vinyl with the mini to get everything that the larger Easy Press failed to heat. I will note that I use a power strip because I can’t easily get to the outlet at my work bench, so that may be part of the issue. I noticed while the 9x9 is plugged in, the lights on the same outlet flicker. I may need to use a temporary location by an open outlet for just the Easy Press but that’s a pain.

I am not a Cricut enthusiast because they tend to make things much more difficult than it needs to be, HOWEVER, this is the best heatpress on the market for beginners or if you need it for personal projects. Im giving it 4-stars because once again Cricut was able to make something that should be EASY much more difficult. First of all, they dont even include the micro-USB that is required for you to plug into your computer to register the heatpress for the warranty. Second, its mandatory to download Design Space to register the product. Third, you have to have an account with Cricut. It just doesnt make sense to have all these steps, especially if youre not a Cricut user.

I 100% recommend this to my fellow crafters. Its so much easier to apply HTV over a conventional household iron, especially when using Cricuts heat press guide to select the ideal settings for the vinyl & base material youre using.

I easy to use. It works well on dark transfer paper. But I could not get it to work well at all in light paper. Color would not adhere well. I dont think it gets hot enought . Gets to 350 degrees. Its compact.

I originally bought this back in April and finally took it out of the box 2 weeks ago to set it up in my craft room. I read the reviews good and bad, and I ended up having problems after using the press 3 times in 2 days. It fried. I had read some negative reviews about Cricut Customer Service being horrible. That was NOT the case at all, after about an hour wait on the phone, I finally was able to speak to a customer service rep who went above and beyond to help me. He gave me instructions on what to do, I sent the necessary video and proof of purchase and received my new heat press today! All this took 2 weeks. I have my new heat press which works perfectly and I am able to continue my Cricut crafting. This is why I gave a five star review, I hope it helps others who may have this problem going forward.

Getting into sublimation n got this, but seems I should have gone with a actual press to apply the pressure needed for materials

I run a craft business and bought this heat press for my projects. Let me tell you that Cricut never disappoints! Press is easy to use, works perfectly AND comes with a little starter project you can create to become familiar with the press! How cool is that? I love my little press, and will definitely be buying more Cricut products to expand my business in the near future.
