Crucial RAM 64GB Kit (2x32GB) DDR5 4800MHz CL40 Laptop Memory CT2K32G48C40S5

I recently picked up a 2022 Lenovo Legion 5, with an i7 12700H & a 3070ti. I haven’t bothered unlocking the advanced bios to enable XMP, so the 5200 and 5600 options were out of the picture. But at 65% the cost of those or another brand’s CL38 kit, the 2x16gb set of DDR5 4800 is WELL worth the money. Since my Lenovo came with 16gb of DDR5 4800 CL40, no speed increase was seen, but I am very happy to report that I haven’t had any game crash on me since upgrading!

I bought two of these to upgrade a laptop and they are just fine.

That should read 4800 MT/s not 4800 MHz.

Easy to install

Popped out one of the 8GB chips that came in it, replaced with this, rebooted and waited a few minutes. Ive had no problems the last few hours. I realize filling both banks with the same chips would probably be faster but 1) I dont need 64GB RAM 2) I cant afford it 3) Ive seen no performance loss.

Bought the two sticks of 32 GB for my MSI Raider GE76. Install was super easy other than MSI not having the correct specs on their website. They have my laptop model set as using DDR4 RAM but the DDR4 SODIMM I had didnt fit. After running a few checks figured out it was probably DDR5. Picked up these bad boys got them put in and the laptop works like a dream now! Got the laptop on sale super cheap and this upgrade makes it better than most laptops in way higher price categories so Im loving it.
