Yes, you could assemble yourself a set of these by referencing its content at the cruztools website and building it from scratch. Probably could save a few dollars in the process. But you wouldnt save a lot, and youd spend a bit of time doing it. Im happy with the purchase, it will pay for itself if I use it on the road a single time. Every long-distance rider should have one in the saddlebag at all times.

I purchased this kit for a 2012 HD RK. I previously owned a smaller version of the Cruz Tools kit, which I carried on 2 previous HDs, and used it numerous times on various models of friends bikes with flawless performance. I decided to purchase this kit due to knowledge of the quality of these tools as well as wanting a few more tools than my previous kit. Ive owned many stock kits from other bike manufacturers as well as a few aftermarket ones through the years. I trust this brand over any others I have owned.

These tools were a life saver. My brand new HD 2014 Heritage Softail had a clutch cover fall off on my first day of driving 550 miles from home. Luckily I had my CruzTools kit and I had the tools to tighten up the cover with the one bolt that was left and get to a Napa Store to buy more bolts and put my Harley back on the road again. Not happy with HD but Im ecstatic with my CruzTools. I will never leave home without them. It has the normal tools you would use in a convenient case that makes it easy to pack. Do not ride any motorcycle without a CruzTool kit. This is not the tool kit you need to overhaul your Harley but is definitely the took kit you need on the road with you.
