So I am horrible because I never write reviews but this product I just had to because it is a miracle product! As a mom of a 22 month old, we’ve been struggling together to help her pass hard stools since she turned 1. She would have a BM every 2-3 days and each time she would struggle so hard to the point of hair drenched in sweat and crying for like 30 mins to an hour trying to pass a bowel. I felt so bad because I could not help her but just watch and soothe her. In addition she is not eating fruits and veggies like she should so she is not getting her fiber source. We’ve also tried fiber gummies but soon enough she realized the taste of vitamin gummies vs candy gummies so she would refuse taking them. When I found out about this product and how it is in powder form and flavorless I thought I give it a try. I didn’t want to start my daughter on any medications to help regulate her BM at this point. It has been 4 weeks and she has had soft, mushy stool. I don’t even known when she is doing her thing because it is so much easier to pass. I give her one packet a day with her milk and she doesn’t even realize the product. I’ve already purchased a second box and will cont to do so.

Bought this for my 20 month old who goes between regular and constipated. The doctors answer was prescription meds but I’m not a fan of that as the answer at such a young age. I did a little research after keeping a food and fluid intake journal of my sons diet. This product was recommend to me by a few moms and I’m very glad we tried it. Increased his fluid intake and give him this once a day(sometimes 2 times a Day if he eats goldfish that day) and he’s pretty regular. No more crying and straining. And MOST importantly, no prescription meds!!! I can’t comment on the taste, but I mix it with half water half milk and he takes it no problem. I do wish it was a little cheaper. I did find the larger pack on wal-mart for $35 vs I think on Amazon it was $40 or somewhere in that ballpark. If you have a pretax health spending program through your employer you can turn the receipt in for this product. At least that helps to offset the cost.

Together with Mommys Bliss Constipation Ease, this was a LIFESAVER! Here is some rather long background, in the hopes that it will help another parent going through a similar situation. My 5 and 1/2 year old has suffered from constipation for over a year. Its been a long, complicated battle with a huge psychological component (the longer he goes between going, the more scared he gets and the longer he holds it and the more difficult it gets... and so on in a spiral). We put him on Miralax, on his pediatricians advice, a year ago. First we gave him a 1/3 of what we saw on the internet as a kid-appropriate dose, every 2 to 3 days. It sort of worked for a few months, but it was never easy. Then we had to start giving it more often, like daily and finally, a month ago we went to a full dose (triple of what we started with, and then some) every day, some times twice a day. Then he went a week without going, and when he finally went, well, I dont wish this on anyone. So we had to do something different (despite our doctor telling us to just stay on Miralax and keep increasing the dose; side note, as other reviewers comment, Miralax is not studied or recommended for children or for a prolonged use, despite what pediatricians say). So I came to this and Mommys Bliss. We now give him one Culturelle Regularity packet in the morning, mixed in some prune juice, and then one dose of Mommys Bliss Constipation Ease after he gets home from school (2 teaspoons, on its own, followed by a glass of water because the taste is a bit yuk). On the second day of this regimen (with no Miralax - we stopped cold turkey because it stopped doing anything for us), he did #2. It was not a pleasant experience but better than the time before that. Then he went the next day. And the next. He has been going every day since we started this, and it is much easier for him to go. Hes not scared anymore either. I dont know if it is Culturelle or Mommys Bliss, or the combo of both, but we are so relieved (pun intended). I set up an Amazon subscription for both; fingers crossed they keep working.

This has been a life saver for my 2year old. She has some sensory issues with foods, so she doesnt eat enough foods with all the important vitamins, minerals, and ingredients needed to be healthy. And especially doesnt eat enough of the foods that help with having healthy stools. Everytime it was time to eat my stress level would go thru the roof. I didnt wanna fight with her or put pressure on her about eating because I know that can make picky eaters worse. Weve been using this product about a month and theres no more stress during meals. Now Im happy shes eating anything and I know she will have healthy stools with no more constipation. The product worked the first day we used it. For the first few days I was giving her the 2 packets a day in her juice. Then it worked so well that I had to cut it down to 1 packet a day. Now in the last week just a half a packet once a day is working. On days she wont eat any fruit or vegetables I give her the 1 packet a day, and this system is working great now. Live changing product!

This is a graat way to add little extra fiber to your little ones diet without them even noticing. This is also a great resource to keep on had around holidays or when traveling or any other time that there is a deviation form the normal nutritional routine so that little ones dont get constipated. It is tase free and has no flavor so it can be easily hidden in juice, waster, or a variety of things.

Use this if your kid is on antibiotics frequently!! I’m writing for parents of kids with a similar issue to mine: my 5 yo had perianal discomfort / itchiness daily, for months. It was internally (the canal) not externally so with testing we were able to rule out perianal strep, yeast, pinworms, and hygiene. She was checked for fissures (none) and she wasn’t constipated. We started cutting out foods that we thought she might have developed an allergy to (it wasn’t that). At my wits end, I ordered this product, although she had no issues passing BM regularly, I figured it couldn’t hurt. Within 36 hours, the itchiness disappeared. We saw a GI specialist. It turns out she had a bacterial overgrowth due to having been on antibiotics 5-6 times in 12 months (for repeated ear infections and strep). This probiotic replenished the good bacteria in her gut and resolved the issue. We have her on it daily, and the issue hasn’t returned.

I have used these for myself during pregnancy and most importantly, for my 3 yr old LO. He has struggled with painful stools and began holding in his stools due to the fear of the pain he was feeling during a BM. I poured one packet in his drink this AM (we used a nutritional chocolate milk- shook very well and it dissolved nicely!!!) and within 2ish hours he had 2 soft BM’s in a row!!! It sounds funny, but it is a dream come true for a momma that worries about her LO and wants to help, but in this situation I was feeling helpless until we tried these fiber packets!!!

Ok guys, my poor little baby has had bad constipation since birth. So bad, in fact, her pediatrician thought she had a blockage or malformed intestines. Had a scan done and nope, all good. Anyway, she has had 2 UTIs in her short life of just one year and it’s directly related to bad episodes of constipation. We keep her very clean. We found a perfect remedy and that is THESE probiotic packs and mommy’s bliss constipation ease together. We give it probably 4-6 days a week. If we don’t, she starts producing pellet poop. Our poor girl. But we can count on this to fix that within the day. It’s a God send and I’m so grateful I found this. Thank you so much to the other reviewers. She hasn’t had a UTI or gone more than a day without pooping since starting this. I’d like to add, the mommy’s bliss alone did help, but not enough. This combo is gold. I’m sure these packets would work very well on their own but my girl likes the taste when I add the mommy’s bliss constipation ease to it better. We call it her poop juice, lol. Water, mommy’s bliss constipation ease, and this just once a day 4-6 days a week.

A great alternative to miralax to keep my 2 and 4 year old regular. Only need one pack per day.

I used this for my children when they had a stomach bug and it worked to help regulate them after a few days. Our pediatrician recommended this product when diarrhea is happens since the fiber in this product helps solidify and regulate their bowels.
