    Daniel Smith Extra Fine watercolors, a premium brand is available from Jerrys Artarama and now from Amazon. The Quinacridone colors and Aussie Red Gold are amazing for brilliant autumn scenery. A few drops is all it takes for vibrant, transparent paintings.

    I purchased this product after trying various other watercolors because of the price. All told, I spent more money trying to duplicate this color than I did buying it. I have found all of the Daniel Smith watercolors to be awesome. They are heavily pigmented and a little goes a long way. If you are in an art class and the instructor is using them, anything else will literally pale in comparison. They are worth the investment whether you are a hobbyist (as I am) or not.
