> 3 daywhile the darn tough socks are more expensive than other brands, the value you gain is worth it. no pulling or shrinkage through multiple washings, which is fantastic for a wool sock! no rub from the initial wear and On. the pattern is cute and outdoorsy.

> 3 dayBuilt to last, and with a lifetime tear/hole warranty, these socks should be the only available on the market. Would recommend!

> 3 dayI wear this style of Darn Tough sox year round. Decent medium weight cushioning. These sox dry quickly. Pattern looks like a rocket propelled outhouse?

Greater than one weekSeriously, aside from my business dress, I regret buying anything BUT Darn Tough socks. Come this summer, I will eschew every single other sock in my over-crowded sock drawer and upgrade to what I now know is perfection.

> 3 dayCan’t kill these socks. I wore them on a mission trip to Africa and backpacked 150 miles over rough terrain with a 40-lbs pack and they were still great when I returned to the states and washed them. They are worth the price and Amazon gets them to your door fast.

> 3 daySo, what I love about these socks is the height and the elastic tops, unlike brands like smart wool that can be painful if you have big calves. The lack of seams is FANTASTIC! Though despite the no bunching claim, they definitely will. What I don’t really like is where the cushioning is, or rather where it’s not. I’m not even remotely convinced that if it’s hot outside the thinner material at the top of a sock will keep your feet cool. It’s still crammed into and touching the top of your shoe/boot keeping it hot. If you’re going to do it though, it needs to come at least as far back as the last “knuckle” on your feet. Any bending point in the foot that’s going to contact your boot/shoe should be cushioned. They’re great quality, and I want to like them more, but it’s… almost perfect. I’d love to give a micro crew full cushion sock a try… but they don’t seem to make one that doesn’t jump to the extra cushion heavyweight category. Don’t get me wrong, that I want to try for winter, but doesn’t sound too pleasant for summer. These are probably perfect for casual wear in shoes, but not so much for hiking in boots, imho. Having worn them a bit more I had to take away a star… ok so these are $27 socks… they should be monumentally better than $2 socks… but they’re not. And my other huge complaint is the inconsistency between pairs. I have one pair with decent toe cushioning and terrible heel cushioning, and another pair where it’s the opposite problem. I don’t know if the socks they couldn’t sell end up on Amazon or not, but for $27/pair I’m not impressed at all. They got so much right compared to smart wool, but so much wrong too. I’m willing to give a pair of the full cushion socks a try before giving up on darn tough as a whole.
