Ive been using this Davids toothpaste about a month. I have noticed there is a gray substance surrounding the paste as it comes out of the tube. The tube is made of metal. I assume this gray substance is metal thats leaching into the toothpaste. I stopped using it for that fact. I really hope its not leaching metal, because its going into the human body which is toxic, but what else could it be?

Im 74 and have had typical age-related issues with teeth chipping and such, so I checked Amazons reviews of various toothpastes and came across this one... I wasnt really expecting great results, but Im very impressed. I had a part of one of my back molars (about 1/8 by 1/8) break off and it left a rough surface. After about 2 months of daily use, the roughness is gone.. This toothpaste has actually filled in that damaged surface. I just ordered my 2nd tube.. Im sold!

I have tried many non toxic flouride free toothpaste. This one is one of my top favorites along with boka, and risewell. This one has nano hydroxy appetite which Japan has been using for decades instead of flouride. Why no flouride? Look up pineal gland and flouride. This substitute they use is completely non toxic and it restructures the bone in the teeth. If you are interested in holistic health and why this would be a good option look up ask the dentist on instagram. Enjoy!

I recently made the switch from to Davids because I wanted to maintain the enamel strengthening I saw with Bokas NHA toothpaste but also wanted a more clean mouth feel. This is the best of both worlds, leaving my breath fresh and whitening my teeth (they were already pretty white) in a matter of weeks. The only thing that could be improved upon is the lid. Because the toothpaste is liquidy and inside a metal tube, when you unscrew the cap and squeeze you get enough for your toothbrush and then too much extra. Theres no way to quickly seal the cap and so some toothpaste can end up wasted. If the cap were redesigned with some kind of silicon spout instead so you can better limit the amount that comes out, Id highly recommend to friends.

This toothpaste is very minty and not sweet… and i love that. It made my teeth feel really clean… first time I used it. Lets see if it keeps some coffee stain away…its a bit pricey…

I got this in a desperate attempt to save my tooth enamel because it was one of the cheaper options with sodium hydroxapatite, which is supposed to rebuild tooth enamel. Ive used it for two months and its fairly good but not a major difference for me to keep buying it. There are more economical options from the mainstream brands, and these times call for cutting costs. The flavor was good, tasted natural and didnt linger or nauseate me. I absolutely hate how runny this toothpaste is— dont add water, be prepared to spit and have it run out your mouth and down your toothbrush handle. Youre supposed to brush for two minutes or at least let it sit that long before rinsing to be effective. Id rinse and still follow up with restoring fluoride mouthwash. The packaging is also problematic because I had issues at first with the tube dispensing too much product, but I found standing the tube nozzle side up helps to remove air bubbles and eliminate this issue. I waited until the tube was almost halfway empty to start using the tube roller. Because of the issue with too much product coming out and the potential for a metal tube to crack, I didnt get to make sure to squeeze the tube well from its tail end before rolling it. Something I tried recently and shouldnt be done too often is dip my readied toothbrush with toothpaste blob into a little container of baking soda to help scrub off stains. Its not great for enamel but adding this dry powder helped reduce the runniness of the toothpaste. Love that this is non-toxic and made in the USA but Ill stick to other easily available options.
