> 24 hourReally expected this to be brighter. i have it in a 20 x 40 building with 12 high ceilings with only diffuse light coming in and this is not bright enough. The room needs to be dark or you need to be close (e.g. within about 10 of the wall, so that the image is about a 65 TV size) for it to be bright enough. Probably ok for presentations as long as the font is not too small, or movies but try and use it to show computer terminal screens? Forget it.

> 24 hourIt was great, bright, affordable, and good audio. We really liked it as a daily use TV replacement. But within 60 days we noticed the left side started to look yellow. As the weeks went on it got darker and more noticeable. Now it looks like a urine stain on the wall whenever we turn it on. The last projector we got from DB did this too, maybe something to do with the bulb? Maybe we run it too long? But either way it’s too noticeable to use now. If you want this for occasional use then this will last you a long time but for daily use its going to wear out on you in less than a year.

> 24 hourPurchased this projector along with Amazon’s plug-in streaming device to create a hangout spot for my teenagers. Picture quality is excellent and the sound is pretty decent as well (though I intentionally purchased an Amazon sound device to pair as well - pairing the projector and the Amazon device was super-easy!) Kids had a Halloween Frightfest movie night a few days after receiving, and it’s been pretty hard to convince them to come inside since. Very happy with purchase!

> 24 hourUpdate: the company reached out to me and replaced the projector and the replacement came with a remote! I really appreciate the remote after setting up the first one by using the buttons on the projector. In all it’s a good projector for the price point and the company stands behind it. Start: Projector came and we setup a video, picture was OK, not great but not bad for watching video. Will not focus properly and only a small portion of the screen is actually in focus. Not terrible when youre watching a movie that has changes in focal point but for reading or details its impossible no matter where you place the projector. I set it up and used it a couple times over the last few months and decided to keep it, only later did i realize it was missing parts (no IR remote) and i have not been able to find any way to get in touch with the manufacturer. In short im disappointed in the quality and company for not including all parts. Im past the return window so im stuck with it now as is.

> 24 hourPlease let my pictures speak for themselves. Direct from the Pixel 3 phone to the Amazon review. We had a night out under the porch with two fires going, house light on and alley light in the back. The DBPOWER powered right through! Picture was very bright and quite clear. Speaker more than adequate to overpower background noise and mild conversation. Literally ready to use out of the box. HDMI and Power Cord included. I set it on a side shelf, power and input cables attached, laptop as input and we were in business. There is no techy know how needed, you can to get this going in 3 minutes or less. (including opening up the box, lol!) And I dont use the term clear generically, this DBPOWER projector is 1080p, which is FULL HD. Your normal consumer projector today is just HD at 720p. So a nice clear picture that is bright enough to overpower a fires glow with plenty of loudness for everyone to hear the show!

> 24 hourI completely tested 5 $250 and below projectors and this was the best of the bunch. It had the brightest picture, the best sound by a long shot (didnt want to have to fuss with external BT speakers etc) and is easy to use and setup. This one does NOT have BT capability, but you wont need it anyway. Planning to use it for occasional movies and some Fall football on the garage door and wanted simple and quick. I am so far very pleased with this projector for the money. The screen size in my pictures is 150 to 170 inches and still pretty darn clear dorectly on the aluminium door. Biggest thing for me was the sound is really good amd just fine at half volume for normal viewing. About what you would expect from a TV.

> 24 hourUPDATE- The company reached out to me and sent me a new one, so I decided to review it fairly. I believe I received a defective unit, so I highly recommend everyone who purchases this item to test it properly, because a working one of these is great: *** Upon opening the projector, you’re greeted by a very cute small backpack that opens all the way to reveal the projector and a few cables - hdmi, AV (I think), and the power cord. You also have a manual and a remote. The projector itself comes with a lens cap, and is absolutely amazing. You’re greeted with the home screen, which gives you access to each input, and the settings. I connected a Chromecast to this, but the screen share on it is amazing and reliable. I’m able to connect my phone within just a few seconds. The quality is definitely 1080p, and the focus is super easy. However, the part that stands out to me the most is keystone. I can put my projector anywhere in my room and keystone it so that it looks straight. This feature makes it so worth it, because it maintains the quality really well. In terms of brightness, the projector is pretty bright. At nighttime you might have to turn the brightness down, and you can see the screen in a light daylight, I’d definitely not recommend trying it in direct sunlight though. I watched a 3 hour movie and a few episodes of a show today, and it was great. No burning, no overheating, nothing. Only time will tell if it survives, but customer service is great to contact if you need any help or notice anything strange. The only thing I wish it had was Bluetooth, which can be solved with a Bluetooth adapter that plugs into the unit’s USB port. Regardless, for the price, this is definitely the best and simplest projector you can buy if you’re hosting a party outdoors, indoors, or just need something quick and easy. —old review below— I received this projector this afternoon and was so pleasantly surprised when opening it. It arrived in a whole backpack! I was stunned. I began removing the accessories, setting everything up, and turned it on. It was beautiful, especially the keystone correction was amazing. Then comes nighttime. I turned it back on with my friends to watch my first movie on it. In the middle of the movie, my friend closest to the projector said he smelled something funny. We all looked over at the projector to see it smoking from the vents. The screen began turning brown, so we quickly unplugged the projector and put it on the floor so it doesn’t burn our table What started as such an amazing purchase turned into a disaster, in only a few hours. Looking at the other reviews I see similar things have happened after months of usage, but I also see so much positivity. Are these just defective units? I can’t imagine something that looked so promising can spontaneously combust. Now the projector shows brown all over the image, and I won’t keep it on for more than 2 minutes or else it heats up quickly. I really wish this worked for me.

> 24 hourI love my new projector! The quality is outstanding for such a reasonably priced projector. The picture is extremely bright, a feature that is very important to me because I need to use the projector in a variety of background lighting conditions. I am so pleased that I can see the picture detail clearly even in a well lit room. The picture clarity and quality is outstanding. I found the projector to be very easy to set-up and operate. Using the projector is very intuitive and the menus are easy to navigate. This is a great product. You will not be disappointed!

> 24 hourWere using the projector for backyard movies and video games. We were using a small battery powered projector that was OK but it had to be very dark in order to get a nice picture. We purchased this projector because of the excellent lumens specification. It’s a huge difference since we can start using the projector much earlier in the evening which we really enjoy. We now have an awesome picture on our 100” screen that I’m sure we will get a lot of use out of.

> 24 hourAs you can see from the photos I have posted comparing my old projector to this one, the new one is much brighter and has a crisper picture. I have not adjusted any settings on the new projector for the comparison photos I took, so right out of the box you get incredible quality for two hundred-ish dollars! I recommend this projector. Definitely better than our last one.
