The belt looks real good but under stress they fail quickly ...... I had two ....one lasted a day the other lasted 1 hour .....real shame , they look good but as soon as they get warm they stretch quickly , there is no strength to handle a mowing .......installed mine on a mower deck .

Perfect fit on a craftsman lawnmower. Belt was sturdy and at half the price of Sears.

This belt lasts longer than any other that I have used. My crappy craftsman mower eats belts, but has less of an appetite for these kevlar belts.

This belt came apart after two hours of mowing but keep on reading and see why the five stars. Update: I originally gave this belt one star. The reason was that the belt came apart after two hours of mowing. I requested a refund and the supplier promptly refunded me. I ordered a belt from a different vendor and when I installed it I noticed that a bracket on my mower deck broke. That caused the belt to run slightly of track. I am actually impressed now that the belt lasted 2 hours. I am going to contact the seller and offer to pay for the belt as I was the cause of the failure.

The belt was labeled as 83 x 1/2 and it was Kevlar wrapped as I wanted, but the belt would not fit onto the standard pulleys on this deck......careful comparison to a 83 x 1/2 Gates power belt showed the belt that would not fit was slightly wider than the Gates belt that DID fit. Nothing I could do would make it fit. Not an error on my part. Very disturbing as it made a difficult job much more difficult.

1st belt snapped in half due to stuck blade. 2nd belt started separating and shredding like glue was bad. How do I get warranty?
