Not all 42 Craftsman mowers use the same size belt. Ensure you look up the correct part number. Best advice for you; use the part number under the engine hood sticker.

Put belt on correctly, one time around yard & belt came apart. Unusable.

THE BELT IS A TAD TIGHT BUT SHOULD LOOSEN OVER TIME

This is junk. Had high hopes, but it broke before I finished the lawn(and yes, it was installed correctly). Started smelling the burnt rubber smell, then the thing disintegrated. Don’t waste your hard earned money, its not like you can return this piece of crap..

The belt is doing what it is suppose to be doing

Might have just been the shortest lifespan I have ever seen on a new Drive belt. 15 Minutes and this.

I just replaced the original belt on my 2013 Craftsman mower with this one. The original was probably due last season, but when it started slipping off a few days ago, I ordered this one. Im not expecting to get more than 2 seasons out of this for the price, but for a savings over the OEM version of $75, Ill be happy with 2 seasons of use.

Fit on my craftsman yt3000

This belt has been as good as other belts I purchased at a higher price. I will continue buying these belts.
