Greater than one weekI haven’t yet decided where to mount this, but it will be able to hold lots of thread and bobbins. The pegs are plenty long enough for a thread and bobbin on the same peg. As others have mentioned, it was a challenge to assemble. Once we figured out a system, it went together quickly. My husband and I worked together, each with a pliers. When we worked in tandem, we had it together in no time, but I think it would be hard to accomplish with just one person. Being plastic, I was afraid we might break something during assembly, but we did not. Just what I was looking for.

> 3 dayIt was a tough choice, but I picked the right thread holder! The spindles are LLLONG and hold more than 1 spool of thread if necessary, which is perfect for large thread stashes. I can stack spools on top of each other (even 2 tall Metzler spools!) or match spools with bobbins of the same color. The sturdy plastic took quite a bit of finger strength to snap the rungs to the vertical frame, but my husband was able to finish it up when my fingers wore out. It is definitely sturdy and perty on my sewing room wall!

> 3 daySpacing for serger thread is why I purchased this and it could leave out a peg on each row and be perfect- but it serves my purpose pretty well. Not nearly as hard to assemble as some had commented.

> 3 dayVery practical and looks lovely on the wall. I have two of them placed on top of each other. I like the long rods because they can hold a thread spool as well as a bobbin with the same thread color, which saves me the headache of bobbin storage. Assembling it was a bit too hard for me, so I had to ask my husband to help, and even he needed pliers! But once assembled the pieces hold well together and do not shift, and I like that.

Greater than one weekI have a moderate amount of thread. I have 142 spools of thread. Roughly 60 Coats & Clark thread, then Aurifil and Connecting Threads thread for quilt piecing, followed by Isacord Polyester Thread for FMQing. (free motion quilting). All of these are different sizes. Yet, I am able to easily fit ALL of these on the TWO thread stands. The pegs are 3 1/2 long, so I am to EASILY put TWO Coats & Clark threads on one peg, and also am able to put the bobbins with the thread if necessary. I had tried plastic thread cases, but they take up SOOO much room, and you are constantly searching for the right brand and then color for the job. Now I just have to glance up on my wall and choose the right thread! I am VERY pleased with this purchase! Oh, and others did mention that this was difficult to snap together, my hubby had no issues with it and had both of them together in under 10 minutes. So, since I didnt try doing it myself, I cant comment on if it would be hard for people (like me) with less strength, although it didnt look like my hubby was straining or anything to get these together. Oh, and DONT lose one of the pegs....they only give you 60 pegs for each thread stand. Not even 1 extra! LOL.

> 3 dayAll my thread is now organized and close to my sewing machine. There is ample room for the spools of thread and there is even enough room to store the bobbins on top of the thread.
