Derby Laces Teal Spark Shoelace for Shoes, Skates, Boots, Roller Derby, Hockey and Ice Skates

Gifted these to a girlfriend for Christmas. She loves them and the color is bright and bold.

The laces are a little on the scratchy side, but that goes with any sparkly material. The material also makes it a little stiff, but it is a non-issue for me. I love, love, love the color. But, if your shoe or boot material is on the lighter side, the color will run or smear wherever it rubs against. I just hand washed the laces with detergent and rinsed with water until the water was clear. Then, hung to dry.

Look so good on these skates! They are size 5 womens Chicago rink skates and I purchased the 84 inch laces.

The laces are very stiff and the colour rubs off. I washed them hoping it would help it they came out just as stiff and I still had to clean the colour off of my suede skates. I will not be purchasing again.
