> 3 dayOverall a decent tape… except after every 12” the inch measurement resets to one. Instead of 14” this would read 2” and you would then have to look back to see the foot marker. Infuriating product. Not for professionals.

Greater than one weekThis was perfect for measuring the outside of the house and along the property line. It winds up really fast, and feels very sturdy. It is an insanely great deal for the price and I regret not getting one of these earlier. Ive been stumbling along in life with a 25ft tape measure, and having to estimate as I adjusted for the next 25ft. Definitely plan on this one lasting a long time.

Greater than one weekArrived quickly. The casing is overall quality. The cons are that you still need someone to help you if youre not measuring a relatively short or flat surface because the tape, while steel, is thin and doesnt stay in place. Also, it measures in feet not inches. It would be ok still despite that, but when you pull the tape out past a short distance--which is the only reason anyone would buy a 100ft tape measure--it doesnt retract back in despite winding it (the one we were sent doesnt anyhow).
