This is great for styling my hair. My hair lies very flat without any hair product, but this helps it stand up without being stiff. The scent isnt overpowering either, and usually I dont notice it. Basically, it does what it says it will.

Medium hold with very little shine, exactly as promised. Great product.

I bought based on Q&A answers saying this is the same product as the old pliable molding creme in the clear jar with the light blue lid. Its not. That product, distributed by American Crew, had a taffy-like consistency and a hold factor of 8 out of 10. This is lighter, pure white, almost a yogurt consistency, and doesnt hold as long or as well. Even though this products description says D:fi D:struct Pliable Molding Crème, note that the jar does NOT say that; its just Medium hold molding creme. with low shine. DFI Hairs web site is an Instragram page of young adults with nice hair. Totally useless for finding product info, comparing hold vs. shine, etc. I see that American Crew offers a Fiber product promising high hold with low shine (Amazon ASIN B0007CXWC4); maybe Ill try that.

I have short hair that I style in a variety of ways and I appreciate how easy this is to work with and for sculpting styles.

Best product out there

Buy this stuff all the time, it’s my favorite hair product. It arrived this time without the lid on, so the package was a mess. Was going to return but when trying to re-purchase, the earliest delivery was a month out so I had to keep the damaged product.

My husband has been using this on his hair for years. He has tried other products but always comes back to this one.
