The only time this is useful is when the toothpaste is almost gone. When I roll it up from the bottom of the tube, it just unrolls and the metal key just falls off. I dont use it on any hair products but I it wont stay if the tubes are the heavy plastic used today. I find it helpful at the very end of the product when you arent setting the tube down; when it unravels from the bottom and you have to start all over again. With the modern tubes, I think you will have this problem with any product on the market.

Works great gets all the product out of tube

Works great, I bought it first for a moisturizer that comes in an aluminum tube. Worked so well I got it again when I started using toothpaste that comes in an aluminum tube as well.

just used this for the first time. i have a hard time getting the hair dye out of the metal tubes that they use in the home kits. i had to have my husband help me. i bought this and used it for the first time last week and what a great product. easy to use, very little effort required and got everything out of the tube.

I like the how big the handle is. It’s more comfortable than the metal ones

Allows me to measure out exact amount in a tube of hair color. Easy to use, just slide on and roll the tube to the amount you need or til empty. East to use with arthritic hands.

I love this key for getting every last bit out of my hair dye tubes. It also works well with toothpaste tubes. Its super sturdy and the handle is comfortable.
