> 3 dayThe thermometer was smaller then I thought it would be but it is still easy to read. Factory setting was Celsius but there is a a bottom on the back which switches to Fahrenheit. Simple...which is nice.

We do not want to heat/cool the whole house when we can use gas logs, for example, to heat the rooms used most during the winter. One of us is always colder than the other so this is a great referee.

I updated my review to 4 stars for excellent communication from seller who promptly offered a refund. I decided to keep the item since it works fine for me and can easily be placed in a guitar case to monitor humidity.
