> 3 dayMy daughter loves to play with these. Only complaint is that the small ones are harder to track down when she rolls them under the furniture!

Greater than one weekThis is a review for MEASURE UP!® Cups by Discovery Toys by Discovery Toys. Just bought another set for my newest little great nephew. I bought these twenty years ago for my son and twenty years later we still have them in our beach toy crate. Weve bought them on-and-off throughout the years for gifts and always enjoy reminiscing. He remembers using them in the bathtub, then at the beach, and with play clay, and enjoys the nostalgia of watching little ones play with the same toy he loved. - Theyre durable. Obviously. - They hold their color. - Theyre seriously educational. - Wonder why the rims are ridged? Its so you cant put them on your mouth and suck in and get them stuck! Not that I would do that. Well, I dont do it very often anyway. But seriously, it can be a suffocation issue for little ones so this is a nice feature. Note: there are a couple of tutorial videos on-line. One is a far more abrasive than the other (to my ears anyway - sorry blonde woman). Chose the dark-haired woman. If you found this review helpful, please check yes below. Thank you and happy stacking!

Greater than one weekWe bought these for the next generation in our family as the ones we bought from Discovery Toys for our grown sons are still going strong! Great for use in the bath, at the beach, as well as at home.

> 3 dayI used to sell these toys, and this set was played with for a good five years. They are great for the obvious stacking and water/sand play. But they can be used to teach pattern recognition, counting (the number of dots match the number on the side), and math because they are volumetricly correct. So if you fill the 1 and 3 cups, they will exactly fill the 4 cup. You can also teach how to tell time by the positioning of the dots in the circle on the side, but most people have digital clocks these days. There may be other versions out there that are as versatile, but when our grandson turned one, I bought him these.

> 3 daySo I bought these because my mom sold Discovery Toys when we were kids and still has her set. They have been my 8 month olds favorite toy for a couple months now when he visits so I figured I needed my own set for our house. At 8 months we like to stack them and knock them over, chew on them, and especially bang them together to make a loud noise. They spread out on the floor for lots of fun, then stack back up nice and neat to take up very little space when stored. Obviously we will continue to get a lot of use out of these as the years go on. I loved comparing them to the vintage set. I will say that I think the colors of the new ones are not as good as the old ones, particularly the red is more orange and green not as vibrant. This is not a big deal, but since learning colors is part of the fun, I wish they were the same strong colors as the old ones. I looked at other sets (my sister also babysits and got a cheap $5 set) but I think for a toy that gets so many years of use (I would personally enjoy making a sandcastle with these at 34yo) and is now being passed to a second generation, Id say it is worth the $18 spent for a better product!
