These feel very plastic-like. Not like all the other biodegradable bags Ive used. They do rip off the roll easily, but do not open easily at all! I have to lick my finger to open it and that is not something I really want to do when Im out with my dog. UPDATE 11/5: The seller has contacted me and refunded me for my unhappiness. Their customer service is very nice and will answer any questions.

First, the value is worth it. Second, its easy to tell which end to attempt to open. Third, it hold four pound of poop.
