Dove Advanced Hair Series Serum-In-Oil, Regenerative Nourishment 1.69 oz

Perfect oil, amazing great price. I own 30 different hair oil products. Seriously, Im a little OCD about looking for the BEST oil out there. And you know what I have discovered at the end of the day? DOVE is just as good as the $45 (yes, you are reading that right) oils. And I own a bunch of those. In fact one of the most famous really expensive oils, is absolute crap that leaves your hair sticky and not at all shiny. Dove oil has a pleasant smell. Here is how I use it. I take three or four pumps of oil into my palm (clean hands only please) and then I rub it furiously with my other hand until it heats up. Next I take small sections of my hair and using both my hands, I massage it into the ends. This takes about 70 seconds. At the end my hands are completely oil free. Next I use the WET BRUSH Paddle and gently get through the ends, and work up my hair from there. The oil shines your hair and makes it incredibly manageable. I think I have some of the worst hair EVER. One of my swim coaches used to call my hair BRILLO. Not a lovely name for a young teenage girl. (And now that I think about it, this is probably the root cause of WHY I have every hair oil product every made!! lol!) Older and so much wiser now, this oil is GREAT. My hair is manageable, shiny and just lovely. Do not let the lower price scare you - this stuff is GREAT!

Its oily so a little goes a long way! It does produce a nice silkily shine (especially the day after you washed your hair) but apply only to hair not scalp and one tiny pump does my entire head of shoulder length frizzy hair.

The product had leaked into the plastic and the container was completely empty. Not eligible for replacement?

This serum in oil really fights the frizzies. I have extremely curly hair and this tames the frizz even on humid days. Be sure to only use a dab on dry hair, though, otherwise your hair may look a little oily. The serum/oil has a nice subtle scent that is not overpowering. It contains coconut oil, palm oil sweet almond oil and sunflower seed oil to nourish your hair, but the main oil ingredient is mineral oil. Plus, it also contains dimethyconol. Id hoped to see all natural ingredients on the label, instead of chemicals.

Can’t imagine a hair routine without this.

Smells great and absorbs into my wavy-curly but fine hair.

Best serum out there. Sad Dove has discontinued it.

Love this and the price is right! Nice smell and helps takes the frizz out of my hair. This is one beauty product you can save money on and still have a salon quality product.
